These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you (the "Customer" or "Client") and Al-Raba Computer Electric Accessories Trading LLC ("Al-Raba Technologies," "we," "our," or "us"), a company registered and operating in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
We are a leading provider of power solutions and IT infrastructure, specializing in UPS systems, EV charging solutions, batteries, power management services, and technical consultation. Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services or purchasing our products.
By accessing and using the Al-Raba Technologies website (al-raba.com) or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These terms govern the business relationship between Al-Raba Technologies LLC and clients purchasing our products (UPS systems, EV charging solutions, batteries, power infrastructure) or engaging our services (installation, maintenance, consultation, technical support) in the UAE.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
We strive to provide accurate information about our products including UPS systems (single-phase, three-phase, modular), EV charging equipment (AC/DC chargers), batteries, ATS & bypass panels, hybrid inverters, and server racks. However, specifications are subject to change by manufacturers (Eaton, APC by Schneider Electric, Tripp-Lite).
Our services include UPS repair and maintenance, load bank testing, power and ICT consultation, structured cabling, security systems (CCTV), audio-visual solutions, and PABX systems. Service availability and scope are determined during consultation and formalized in service agreements.
All quotations and proposals are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on manufacturer pricing, currency fluctuations, and market conditions. Final pricing is confirmed in purchase orders.
Orders are confirmed via purchase order and require a formal agreement specifying products, quantities, pricing, delivery terms, and payment schedule. Orders become binding upon our written acceptance.
Standard payment terms are specified in each purchase order or service agreement. For major projects, payment may be structured in milestones (e.g., 30% advance, 40% on delivery, 30% on installation). Late payments may incur interest charges as per UAE regulations.
All prices are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated. Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees. We provide proper tax invoices as per UAE VAT regulations.
Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on product availability, customs clearance, and logistics. We serve all Emirates including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. Delivery charges apply based on location and order size.
Professional installation is available for all power infrastructure products. Installation scope, timeline, and costs are defined in service agreements. Site requirements and preparation responsibilities are communicated before installation.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery (for products only) or upon successful installation and handover (for installation projects). We maintain insurance during transportation and installation.
Products are covered by manufacturer warranties as specified in product documentation. Warranty periods vary by product type and manufacturer (typically 1-5 years for UPS systems, 2-3 years for EV chargers). We facilitate warranty claims with manufacturers.
Our services (installation, repair, maintenance) are guaranteed for quality workmanship. Service warranties are typically 30-90 days depending on service type. Warranty coverage excludes damage from misuse, unauthorized modifications, or natural disasters.
Warranties do not cover consumable parts (batteries, filters), routine maintenance items, or damage from electrical surges, environmental factors, or improper use. Warranty service requires proof of purchase and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused, unopened products in original packaging. Custom-ordered, configured, or installed products are non-returnable. Restocking fees (up to 20%) may apply for approved returns.
Defective products identified within the warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion in coordination with the manufacturer. We expedite replacement to minimize downtime for critical power systems.
Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving returned products. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable except for defective products or shipping errors.
We provide 24/7 technical support for critical systems via phone (+971 58 971 1992) and email (support@al-raba.com). Response times vary by support level: Emergency (within 2 hours), Priority (within 4 hours), Standard (within 24 hours).
Annual maintenance contracts (AMC) are available for UPS systems and power infrastructure. AMC includes preventive maintenance visits (quarterly or semi-annually), priority support, discounted repairs, and load bank testing. Terms are defined in maintenance agreements.
Customers must provide safe site access, maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity), follow operating guidelines, and notify us of issues promptly. Failure to maintain proper operating conditions may void warranties.
Our total liability for any claim arising from products or services is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service that gave rise to the claim. This limitation applies to all claims including breach of contract, negligence, or other torts.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages including lost profits, business interruption, data loss, or reputation damage, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or pandemics.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms or our business relationship.
We encourage amicable resolution of disputes through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through mediation before resorting to litigation. Mediation shall be conducted in Dubai in accordance with UAE commercial practices.
Both parties agree to comply with all applicable UAE laws and regulations including trade laws, customs regulations, tax laws, and industry-specific regulations governing power systems and electrical installations.
All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, images, technical specifications, and software is the property of Al-Raba Technologies or our content suppliers and is protected by UAE and international copyright laws. Product names and trademarks (Eaton, APC by Schneider Electric, Tripp-Lite) are the property of their respective owners.
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information exchanged during business interactions. This includes technical specifications, pricing information, business strategies, and customer data. Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the business relationship.
Either party may terminate ongoing service agreements with written notice as specified in the agreement. Immediate termination is permitted for material breach, non-payment, or violation of terms. Upon termination, customer remains liable for services rendered and products delivered. Certain provisions (warranties, liability limitations, confidentiality) survive termination.
These Terms of Service, together with specific purchase orders, service agreements, and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. These terms supersede all prior discussions, proposals, and agreements. Modifications must be in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties.
